I read a lot of books. When I don't have anything to do, I'll read. Reading is fun and enjoyible, at least for me. So, if your in a book rut or just want to be more of a reader, here are some of my favorite books.
One of my favortie books/series is Of Posiden By Anna Banks. The first book sinopsis is:"Galen is the prince of the Syrena, sent to land to find a girl he's heard can communicate with fish. Emma is on vacation at the beach. When she runs into Galen—literally, ouch!—both teens sense a connection. But it will take several encounters, including a deadly one with a shark, for Galen to be convinced of Emma's gifts. Now, if he can only convince Emma that she holds the key to his kingdom..." I love this book. Even though its not as mushy as it sounds, it is a good read and has lots of event happen that I can't talk about without spoiling so... read it.
Another one of my favortie books/series is Mara Dyer Trilogy By Michelle Hodkin. The sinopsis for the 1st book is:"Mara Dyer believes life can't get any stranger than waking up in a hospital with no memory of how she got ther.It can.She believes there must be more to the accident she can't remember that killed her friends and left her strangely unharmed. There is.She doesn't believe that after everything she's been through, she can fall in love. She's wrong." This book is the perfect Halloween or fall read. And if you like this series, there is an extenstion of it, in a series called: The Shaw Confessions Series, that the same author is still writing.
An additonal book series that I absolutily love is Percy Jackson & the Olympians by: Rick Riordan. These books are funny and adventrous and sarcastic, all at the same time. The first books sinopsis is:"Percy Jackson is a good kid, but he can't seem to focus on his schoolwork or control his temper. And lately, being away at boarding school is only getting worse - Percy could have sworn his pre-algebra teacher turned into a monster and tried to kill him. When Percy's mom finds out, she knows it's time that he knew the truth about where he came from, and that he go to the one place he'll be safe. There are 5 books in the series all together and there are 2 connecting series.
My most recent obsesion in the book world is Lorien Legacies, by Pittacus Lore. It is a series that has 7 books and has 2 ( I think ) spinoff books. The sinopsis for the first book is: "Nine of us came here. We look like you. We talk like you. We live among you. But we are not you. We can do things you dream of doing. We have powers you dream of having. We are stronger and faster than anything you have ever seen. We are the superheroes you worship in movies and comic books--but we are real.Our plan was to grow, and train, and become strong, and become one, and fight them. But they found us and started hunting us first. Now all of us are running. Spending our lives in shadows, in places where no one would look, blending in. We have lived among you without you knowing. This book is full of mysteries, the happy, the sad, the good, the bad, and is completly full of adventure and fun.
